Research

Metacognitive Therapy Central is committed to practicing only evidence-based approaches. Therefore, a part of maintaining that standard is also to conduct research on topics that are not yet fully explored. For example, research is only beginning to explore the role of metacognition in relationship problems, specifically romantic relationships. To further understand this, we are currently running a study that looks at relationship satisfaction and how the theory behind MCT can help explain why couples experience difficulties. To participate in this study, make sure you include the inclusion-criteria:

  • You are fluent in Danish
  • You are currently in a romantic relationship and have been so for at least one year
  • You are above 18 years old
  • You have not previously received MCT
