Founder of Metacognitive Therapy Central

Metacognitive Therapy Central was born out of my passion for conveying MCT’s effectiveness in treating mental disorders and my desire to reach individuals searching for an impactful mental health treatment.

My appreciation for MCT began during my early days of practicing it. Shifting from CBT to MCT, I was amazed by the speed at which clients recovered from anxiety and depression and how their relationship with negative thoughts transformed. The understanding that thoughts are fleeting and harmless can truly reshape one’s perception of the mind.

A shift in the paradigm of psychological treatments is underway, prioritizing treatments built upon evidence-based psychological theories. These treatments pinpoint and validate the mechanisms that perpetuate psychological disorders, thereby providing more effective solutions to treating them.

MCT stands on a solid theoretical foundation and is backed by research as a suitable and effective mental health treatment. It consistently outperforms cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in treating common mental disorders like depression and anxiety, which often lead to severe disability.
