Free MCT (Metacognitive therapy) Workshop
A Practical Introduction for Clinicians

NEXT DATE: April 16

This workshop provides a practical introduction to the Metacognitive therapy and how it can be applied in your work with clients.

Do you encounter clients who remain stuck in catastrophising and negative thinking, and continue to experience distress despite your best therapeutic efforts and the use of well-established methods?

Sessions can begin to feel repetitive. The client’s progress stalls. And even when you are applying good techniques and genuinely trying to help, the client continues to return to the same patterns of thinking.

You might find yourself wondering what to try next. Over time, it is natural to question whether you are making a real impact. These clinical impasses can quietly lead to self-doubt, frustration, and stress in your professional role, despite your best efforts.

Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) offers a different way of understanding and working with these situations. It focuses on the underlying processes that maintain the client’s distress and cause continuous relapse. Once these processes are targeted in treatment, clients often experience significant relief, sometimes within just a few sessions.

It is designed for psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, therapists, and other professionals who are interested in rebuilding confidence in their work with clients and helping their clients more effectively.
